*I found this post in my draft folder from my old blogspot account. It was a celebration of my birthday with my BFF in 2014. Such a joy to re-reread and reminisce this beautiful afternoon of friendship where she as always has spoiled me. Here is the original post:
A lovely afternoon with an equally lovely friend! Another lovely day of friendship in San Francisco. BFF Heather spoiled me (again!).
12:30 PM: Met with Heather on Market Street. We walked to The Cavalier together for drinks and nice lunch.

| While I had the lamb sandwich. Since it was my birthday, I allowed myself to indulge and ordered fries instead of salad. |
After Lunch: We went window shopping at the new Nordstrom Rack on Market. Heather bought a cute purse. We had fun browsing!
? PM: (Who cares?!We were having so much fun!!!) We walked to "our place," The Ferry Building. We did the usual strolling, sampling and browsing at our favorite stalls and stores including Sur La Table. We just cannot get tired of visiting the Ferry Building!
3:30 pm: We lost track of time because we were having so much fun. We concluded our girls afternoon out at Gotts Roadside where we shared a half-bottle of a very nice Riesling.

Thank you very much, Heather, for a super-wonderful birthday celebration. Thanks for the presents, drink and lunch at Cavalier, wine at Gotts and a super-lovely company. It was a very memorable day!
