JANUARY REVIEW

Intentions met! I enjoyed the slow pace of this winter. I scheduled and enjoyed a few "Nesting Days."
There were so many blessings including a normal annual exam, many family togetherness and delicious feasts, and another wedding anniversary for mom  and dad.
  •  January 2, Tuesday
    • I baked apple scones.
    • Made seafood rice porridge from Christmas Eve leftovers.
    • Started a hardbound 1930's Nancy Drew "Mystery of the Tolling Bells" while drinking decaf black tea with lavender, oat milk and sugar.
    • Lit candles.
    • Enjoyed the cozy winter gloom, Christmas tree and my new lighted snowglobe.
  • January 21, Sunday
    • I did not go to San Jose to see mom and dad since I took the day off to spend the day with them on Thursday.
    • I made mashed potato in the rice cooker and baked salmon.
    • Lit 2 candles.
    • Finished Nancy Drew
    • Very Cozy rainy day.
