Las Vegas | Beauty Sleep at the Bellagio Hotel

Saturday, June 17, 2017

While most people were out and about hoping that Lady Luck will smile at them in Vegas that evening, I was in my room at the Bellagio blissfully turning into a human prune.

I was in Vegas just for one night for work. Instead of trying my hands in gambling or making the most of my evening getting entertained by its over the top gimmicks, I chose to stay in my beautiful room at the Bellagio. I can only wish that my real-life room is designed like this bedroom. It was classy, opulent  but contemporary and not stuffy. Curtains and blinds were controlled by wall switches.  And it was pretty big and spacious.

Oh, and that bathroom! The deep marble jet tub was separate from the shower. Did I already mention "JET TUB"?! I do not know how long I stayed in that tub with a view of Caesars Palace. (I had to close the fabric blinds while bathing as Vegas did not need to add another free show that evening!) The jets massaged my achy body and relaxed my nerves that were shot from having to give a presentation the next morning.

That night I slept so soundly despite the stress that was facing me the next day. I know that it was my prayers and faith that saw me through as I delivered my heart during my presentation the next morning. And it was a huge success! The decadent bath and delicious bed, though, helped -- a lot!

I had one of the best evenings shopping and eating well, and the  soundest solo sleeps of my life that evening at the Bellagio in Las Vegas.
