Dean and Deluca is a must-stop everytime I visit Napa Valley. This is our go-to place for our picnic food whenever my girls and I do our yearly wine tasting trip to Napa. We pile up on cheeses of all kinds, crackers, delicious salads made with whole grains and roasted veggies, and even fried chicken. We also buy cookies and cakes for the boyfriends, husbands and kiddies waiting at home for our return.
We would take our picnic stuff right across the street at V Sattui Winery and make a picnic spread and that is not before getting our wines (always 2-3 bottles of chilled Gamay Rouge -- a rose) at V Sattui. It is very likely that we would end up buying more cheeses and bread at V Sattui's deli.
Dean and Deluca is definitely a food lover's heaven!
