It was an unexpected treat to spend a lovely work day at the Berkeley Marina. The cold and overcast Spring day was cozy and peaceful. I did not expect to find this sprawling picturesque view in front of me. Boats were sailing against the back draft of the San Francisco and Oakland skyline. Flowers were also in full bloom. This morning was a gift. This park is just 15 minutes away from where I live. And this remote bench will provide for moments of solitude.
